Phillip comes to us with several years of experience in customer service, including grocery stores and auto parts.Phillip aka "Phil", is often seen around town for any and all events as he enjoys taking photos and posting them for others to view.

MARY SMITH

Mary has volunteered for SCFB for the past 3 years as our driver for food pickups, organizing food for distribution, and handing out our food bags. Mary is a previous President of the Yreka Host Lions Club. 






PRESIDENT

SISKIYOU COMMUNITY FOOD BANK

On May 15, 2024, our president and founder of this food bank passed away. He was 89 years old. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.  We will miss him and his energy to ensure we had food for those in need.

LAURA LEACH

Laura is also a founding member and has until recently acted as the Treasurer-Secretary position. Laura has 5 years of experience as a board member (President) with the Dunsmuir Chamber of Commerce and 25 years of experience working for Siskiyou County Health & Human Services Agency in several positions including supervisor, Senior Staff Analyst, and more. Laura is the grant writer for SCFB.

WILLIS THOMPSON

"Willie", who is 89 years old, is a very active man. He is a farmer and a beekeeper. He is one of the founders of Siskiyou Community Food Bank. As a farmer, he wants to make sure people who are hungry have food to eat healthy local foods as much as possible. He has been a business owner for over 68 years. Willie brings his business and personal experience in guiding the direction of Siskiyou Community Food Bank (SCFB).
